Meanwhile the Cowboys are failing home schooling
The Eagles are 6-2. That is good. #Analysis. But seriously, that’s really good. As Bill Parcells said, you are what your record says you are, and the Eagles record says they are Super Bowl contenders.
Over the past ten years, fifteen of twenty Super Bowl teams were at least 6-2 in their first eight games, nine of which were the winners.
The Philadelphia Eagles are getting back on track.
The team’s record seems better than the eye test, but the important thing is that they’re winning football games.
And while some are still hesitant about Nick Sirianni and his decision-making, clock management, and management of situational football, the offense is responding to Kellen Moore.
Moreover, it seems like Jalen Hurts is finding his stride again.
At least, that’s what Sam Cossell sees on them.
Talking on the Ross Tucker Podcast, the renowned analyst praised Hurts for his ability to take care of the football and avoid turnovers.
“Hurts does not...

There are four more college football Saturdays left in the regular season. Let’s enjoy it while we have it. Here are the players I am watching this weekend. All listed times are EST
Jalon Walker, Linebacker, Georgia v. Ole Miss (3:30 PM on ABC): Jalon Walker is one of the more fun defenders to watch in the whole country. He is a chess piece in the Bulldogs defense who can defend the run, cover, and use his speed to rush off the edge. Ole Miss is coming off a dominant offensive performance against Arkansas and Jalon Walker will need to...
Think you can figure out which Eagles player we’re talking about? You’ll get five clues to figure him out in our new guessing game!
We’re back for another day of the Bleeding Green Nation in-5 daily trivia game, and we’re returning to our system of a new article each day for the game.
We tried using a single article for the game, updated with the latest game each day, but it was creating a bit of an unwieldy experience in the comments. So, we’ll have the current day’s game plus the previous three days in each new article. That way,...
The Philadelphia Eagles are riding a four-game winning streak and about to face the fading Dallas Cowboys, who are missing quarterback Dak Prescott with a hamstring injury.
However, former NFL wide receiver and current FOX Sports analyst James Jones believes the Eagles should be wary of their NFC East rivals.
“The Eagles are a better football team than the Cowboys. … But, it’s upset alert. … This is a division game,” Jones said on “The Facility.”

Week 10 game status updates.
The Philadelphia Eagles issued their third and final official injury report on Friday in advance of their Week 10 road game against the Dallas Cowboys.
The big news is that everyone on the active roster — save for one player, Ben VanSumeren — is listed without a game status for Sunday.
This means Jalen Hurts, A.J Brown, DeVonta Smith (who was notably upgraded from limited to full on Friday), Saquon Barkley, Dallas Goedert, Fred Johnson, Mekhi Becton, Cam Jurgens, Darius Slay, Josh Sweat, Nolan Smith, Bryce Huff, Ainias Smith, and Jeremiah Trotter Jr. will all...
The Philadelphia Eagles have won four in a row and are 6-2 heading into their NFC East matchup at the Dallas Cowboys.
All is well in Philly, but head coach Nick Sirianni threw an odd curveball out there during a recent press conference in the form of a confusing health update on quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Asked why Hurts was limited at practice, Sirianni may have revealed more than he wanted to.
“It was on the injury report dealing with the ankle. Just making sure we’re precautious with everything,” Sirianni said, via Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

In addition to writing the All-22 offense and defense reviews after each Eagles game this year, I will also write this one called ‘Concept of the Week.’ I will break down a specific concept or play on offense and defense and explain the play in more detail. Hopefully, this will allow you to look out for that play in future weeks. This week, we will look at the Eagles’ use of QB Counter Bash against the Bengals, which the Eagles ran on Jalen Hurts’ rushing touchdown.
I’ve often discussed this concept, so I had to discuss...

The Philadelphia Eagles are tied with the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers as the biggest favorite on the point spread for Week 10 in the National Football League.
The Birds are a 7.5-point favorite for the trip to face the Dak Prescott-less Dallas Cowboys. The over/under sits at 43.5.
The Cowboys were already down for the count before Prescott got hurt last week, but now they’re in even worse shape with Cooper Rush about to take the offensive reins.
Dallas is one of the worst teams in the NFL against the spread at 2-6. Both of the spread...
Jerry Jones said Trey Lance could factor into Sunday’s Week 10 matchup.
The Eagles head to Dallas for their Week 10 NFC East matchup against the Cowboys, and thanks to Jerry Jones, the Birds might not be completely surprised if Trey Lance ends up on the field.
With Dak Prescott sidelined for multiple weeks due to a hamstring injury that reportedly involved some muscle separating from the bone, Cooper Rush has been named QB1, with Lance serving as the backup.
Jerry Jones spoke about Lance being QB2 and mentioned that they have some packages in place that would get Lance...
