The Eagles drafted nine players, made nine trades, and came away with a lot of guys they valued these past three days.
The Eagles added nine draft picks to their roster this weekend, and made just as many trades — the most ever made in a single NFL draft. GM Howie Roseman has been working hard, and he, along with head coach Nick Sirianni, spoke to reporters after finalizing their last pick, and most of their undrafted free agents, to reflect on their three-day haul.

The draft is over and I sense that Eagles fans are mostly satisfied with the job that Howie Roseman and company did this year. 10 observations:
1) A few years ago, we all asked ourselves a simple question. Why don’t the Eagles draft the best players from the best conference? There were jokes about Howie Roseman ignoring the All-SEC player right in front of him and going for some random PAC 12 guy instead.

The Eagles waited until pick No. 155 but they eventually got their guy, drafting legacy LB Jeremiah Trotter Jr. out of Clemson. He spoke to reporters shortly after getting the call, and is excited and grateful for the opportunity.

The Dallas Cowboys have officially wrapped up their 2024 draft class by selecting DT Justin Rogers with the 244th overall pick. Rogers secured 77 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and four sacks in four seasons between Auburn and Kentucky.

Now that the NFL draft is over, the Dallas Cowboys and the other 31 teams will start pursuing undrafted free agents. Roster building is never done in the NFL.
