Fans want to see more from Stroud but don’t want to see the Ravens in the playoffs
Week 16 is here and the Texans face their toughest match yet. They face the Kansas City Chiefs who have only lost one game all season. The Chiefs will play with an injured Patrick Mahomes, but that shouldn’t stop them from putting up a fight against the back-to-back AFC South champs. It’s a game with major implications for seeding. Not only that, fans are brimming with confidence after a win against the Miami Dolphins. Another victory, this time over the best team in...

It’s an AFC West battle between horses and Harbaughs.
Hello, good evening and welcome to week 16 of the NFL season.
Tonight, we see another intradivisional matchup, this time representing the AFC West and, for once, it will not involve the Kansas City Chiefs. We’ll be seeing them play against the Houston Texans on Saturday.
Instead, it’s a battle for second place in the division. It could’ve been a battle for first, but referees love sticking their nose in when it comes to the Chiefs so here we are.
Here are the deets, as the cool kids say, about tonight’s...
Season isn’t over, but the needs are apparent
The Texans have officially staved off the offseason by one week when they won the AFC South this past weekend. The victory over the Dolphins and subsequent Colts loss to the Broncos vaulted the Texans into the playoffs.
While their season isn’t close to being over, the team’s needs moving forward are well apparent. The offensive line is abundantly the weakness of the team. Stroud has been sacked 46 times this season which is sixth most in the league. Stroud is the future of the franchise and protecting him must be the...

Let’s not talk about the last postseason meeting.

Where are the Texans ranked after their victory over the Dolphins?
Despite all of the trials and tribulations the Houston Texans have endured this 2024 season, they are once again AFC South Champions!
With a win over the Miami Dolphins and a incredibly satisfying Indianapolis Colts loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Houston has successfully won the AFC South for the second season in a row; and with three games left to play. As much as this may be a testament to how disappointing the entire AFC South division has been this year, I believe is it similarly an...
We’re in, now who will we play?
We know the Houston Texans are in the playoffs. What we don’t know is what seed they will be and who they will open with at NRG. They are guaranteed an opening round home game due to the fact that they won the AFC South. Beyond that, the odds get pretty dicey if you want to move up. So, following are the various odds under the various scenarios.
In order for this to be even a remote possibility, the Texans would have to win the rest of their games...
Houston Texans vs. Kansas City Chiefs opening odds.
The (9-5) Houston Texans are set to take on the (13-1) Chiefs in Kansas City, this Saturday at noon.
The main talking point in this game will be if star quarterback Patrick Mahomes will be able to play, after suffering an ankle-sprain this past week.
Mahomes said on Tuesday that he has made progress and hopes to be out there against Houston.
Here is a look at the opening odds from FanDuel Sportsbook:
This line makes sense, given the fact that the Chiefs...
Then get the added bonus of clinching the AFC South thanks to the Colts losing in Denver.
