Meanwhile the Cowboys are failing home schooling
The Eagles are 6-2. That is good. #Analysis. But seriously, that’s really good. As Bill Parcells said, you are what your record says you are, and the Eagles record says they are Super Bowl contenders.
Over the past ten years, fifteen of twenty Super Bowl teams were at least 6-2 in their first eight games, nine of which were the winners.
What does this tell us? The Chiefs (8-0) will lose the Super Bowl to the Eagles. Or to the Lions (7-1), the Commanders (6-2 after 8 games), or the Packers (6-2 after 8), or the Vikings (6-2). It’s science.
The last time the Cowboys won a game at AT&T Stadium was December 30th, 2023. They have lost five straight home games, including the preseason. Since then the following teams have won games in Arlington:
The Cowboys have scored eight TDs at AT&T Stadium in 2024. That’s only one more score than the USMNT. Haji Wright has scored more than CeeDee Lamb.
In actual home cooking news, a man of some notoriety enjoyed the duck. Well done Dylan.
Minnesota has a pair of interesting prospects for the Eagles. LT Aireontae Ersery is the oldest of the top OT prospects but the Eagles seem to favor older OL prospects. Since 2016 they have drafted 12 offensive linemen, and eight of them have been 23 or older. At 6-6 and an excellent run blocker, Ersery definitely fits the Eagles. CB Justin Walley has 7 INT and 21 passes defensed in 37 games against power conference opponents.
Virginia Tech EDGE Antwaun Powell-Ryland is having a monster season, 12 sacks, 12.5 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles. His sacks are just downright violent. Paulsboro native RB Bhayshul Tuten (great name) is a strong between the tackles runner. Last year he was a productive pass catcher, this year he’s been limited.
