The Denver Broncos have mostly good news heading into their Week 18 home game against the Los Angeles Chargers. They will have wide receiver Pat Bryant, guard Ben Powers, and tight end Nate Adkins all at full participation and ready to play on Sunday as the team looks to secure the top seed in the AFC. Defensive lineman John Franklin-Myers is questionable with a nagging hip injury that has limited him all week.
For the Chargers, they have ruled out running back Omarion Hampton and we already have confirmation that quarterback Justin Herbert will also be rested ahead of the...

The Denver Broncos face an important Week 18 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. Win and they secure the number one seed in the AFC. Lose and things… get interesting. Fortunately, the Chargers are resting some of their key starters and that should give Denver the advantage.
Denver is also coming off a mini-bye having played on Christmas night. The week was quiet on the interesting stats side of things. There were a couple of really interesting posts that dropped, so here’s what I’ve tracked down for Week 18:
It’s...

The Denver Broncos (14-3) got back on their winning ways on Christmas night and now will look to take the number one seed in the AFC with a win over the Los Angeles Chargers (11-5) in the final week of the regular season. The Chargers will be resting key starters, so there is no reason for Denver to not come out with a win in this game. They just need to play good football and not play down to the level of competition.
Kickoff is set for 2:25 p.m. Mile High time on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Empower Field...

While the Denver Broncos are chasing the one seed, focusing on the playoffs, and have Super Bowl aspirations, other teams are preparing for change. With the 2025 regular season concluding on Sunday, we’ll see several Head Coaches get fired, and candidates for those openings emerge. One candidate who figures to be a popular one this coaching cycle is Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph. His defense has been among the best in the NFL the past two seasons, his pass rush has led the NFL in sacks now in back-to-back seasons, and the Broncos are on the verge of being the...

In just a few days, the Denver Broncos will cap off their regular season hosting the Los Angeles Chargers in front of a hometown crowd at Empower Field. The atmosphere will be electric and no doubt fans across Broncos Country are eager to watch their favorite team attempt to earn the #1 seed in the AFC for the playoffs.
While the Broncos have notched thirteen wins on the season, they haven’t always been pretty to watch. Most all of them have been close games. It’s been one heck of a rollercoaster ride. However, their penchant for fourth quarter heroics has...

We’re finally here. It’s the last week of the regular season and the AFC West Champion Denver Broncos have a chance to lock up home field advantage throughout the Playoffs, and with the added bonus of the Super Bowl being at Levi Stadium, a place that Denver doesn’t seem to mind playing at.
Here’s how the Broncos win their fourteenth game of the season.
Their last game against the Chiefs was a lot closer than it should have been, but through most of the game it had the feeling that it wasn’t as close...

This a big game for the Denver Broncos who need a win to close out a 14-win season and the top seed in the AFC. The bye week in the playoffs would be huge for them on both the preparation side of things and the injury side of things. The Los Angeles Chargers are...

Week 18 of the NFL regular season is finally here. I was 10-6 with my Week 17 picks. With just sixteen games left, I’m 170-86 on the season. That’s over 65-percent accuracy which is quite good, but far below my 70-percent average from last season. Let’s see how well I do for the final week of regular season games.

With the Atlanta Falcons upsetting the Los Angeles Rams on Monday Night Football, the Buccaneers’ path to the postseason had a wrench thrown int. They must now win...

Good morning and Happy New Year, Broncos Country! 2025 is officially behind us. On behalf of Mile High Report, I’d like to wish you and yours all the best in 2026. Additionally, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season.
For today’s installment of Horse Tracks, I thought I’d ask you about things you would love to see with respect to the Denver Broncos in 2026. Obviously, the Broncos finding a way to earn their fourth Lombardi Trophy by winning Super Bowl 60 would have to top all of our lists as fans of the beloved orange and blue....

The Denver Broncos are in a must-win game against the Los Angeles Chargers to close out the regular season. The good news for them is that the Chargers don’t need this game as bad and have decided to rest key starters for this game. Judging from their report today, those players will include QB Justin Herbert, WR Keenan Allen, S Derwin James Jr., and OLBs Tuli Tuipulotu and Khalil Mack. We’ll see if they decided to play Omarion Hampton too even though he appears to be a bit banged up himself.
For Denver, they need this first round bye to...

Happy ChristmaHanaKwanza to all those who celebrate! I missed last week so you will be getting a double dose this week. First the snaps from the home loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The inactives for this game were Sam Ehlinger, Cody Schrader, Reese Taylor, Justin Strnad,
Geron Christian, Jordan Jackson, and Sai’vion Jones.
This was the first game back for Ben Powers and he played about one third of the offensive snaps, splitting time with Alex P. The other four OL starters and Bo Nix played all the offensive snaps. Frank Crum got 4 snaps as the 6th OL.
Courtland...

It’s not often in football that you get the sort of chance to redeem yourself that Alex Forsyth got last week against the Kansas City Chiefs. A little over a year later he gets to return to the spot where he, in part, cost his team a win, and this time around he helps get them in position to clinch a divisional championship.
When Luke Wattenberg was listed out during the week, I was disappointed on behalf of Wattenberg, but there was a part of me happy for Forsyth and confident that he’d be able to get the job done....
