The Cowboys are worse than jury duty
The Dallas Cowboys are down bad. Jerry Jones said they were “all in” this year, instead they’re having possibly their worst season in 20 years. Things are so bad that Brandon Aubrey was given the opportunity to defer his jury duty to the summer and he said no. The 2024 Dallas Cowboys: worse than jury duty.
Or, in the words of Dak Prescott, they “fucking suck.” At least Prescott, who was having probably the worst season of his career, won’t have to participate in it for a while, as he’s likely headed to...
Philadelphia’s young cornerbacks continue to shine.
The Eagles are 6-2 after a Kelly Green win at home against the Jaguars! The game itself was a bit of a roller coaster, with the Jaguars making it close late despite the game feeling like 3.5 quarters of Philly dominance. A win is a win, though, and the Eagles got notable performances from their rookies.
Quinyon Mitchell: A
Quinyon Mitchell was only targeted twice in this game. Mitchell had no problem blanketing Brian Thomas Junior and keeping the Jaguars passing game under wraps. While injuries definitely took Jacksonville’s passing game down a notch,...
It’s a beautiful day to vote! This morning my head popped up off my pillow around 7:30am. The polls had already opened. I quickly picked the boogers out of the corner of my eye, threw some water in my hair, tied my shoelaces tight, and I headed to the polls. Because this is one of the most important votes in our country’s history. We can decide not only the future of this country, but the future of this city with the press of a button. Isn’t that kind of sick to live in a country where your vote means something?...

3 players who make sense for the Eagles at the trade deadline, 2.0 - PhillyVoice
Calais Campbell (38), DL, Dolphins (6’8, 307). Campbell is 38 years old, but still productive. He had 36 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 2022 with Baltimore, 56 tackles and 6.5 sacks in 2023 with Atlanta, and he has 28 tackles and 2 sacks in 8 games with Miami so far in 2024. For what it’s worth, PFF has Campbell graded as the 5th best defensive lineman in the NFL. The...
Think you can figure out which Eagles player we’re talking about? You’ll get five clues to figure him out in our new guessing game!
We’re back for another day of the Bleeding Green Nation in-5 daily trivia game, and we’re returning to our system of a new article each day for the game.
We tried using a single article for the game, updated with the latest game each day, but it was creating a bit of an unwieldy experience in the comments. So, we’ll have the current day’s game plus the previous three days in each new article. That way,...

The final game of Week 9 will be a Monday Night Football contest between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-4) on the road against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs (7-0).
The all-time regular season series between these teams is tied at seven wins each, but the Chiefs have the most recent victory, 41-31, in 2022. They’ve only met once in the postseason, and that was in Super Bowl IV in 2021. Tom Brady won his fifth and final championship ring that year with the Bucs, and the Chiefs went home hungry for their next Super Bowl...
Jason Kelce addressed the Penn State phone smashing incident from Saturday morning during the Monday Night Football pregame show:

Dak Prescott won’t play this week against the Eagles due to a hamstring injury:
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott expected to miss multiple weeks due to hamstring injury. (via @rapsheet, @tompelissero) pic.twitter.com/aeQumpKs4d

This news brings to an end the two-game streak of Eagles vs. Cowboys games where both first string QBs started. Since 2020, the primary quarterbacks have faced off against each other a whopping three times. If it’s Cooper Rush starting on Sunday that means Jalen Hurts has played him one less time than Dak Prescott in his career.
Here are...
The Eagles beat the Jaguars thanks to superior talent and in spite of their head coach.
The differences between the Jaguars and the Eagles on Sunday were clear and jarring.
One of the two teams was supremely talented. One was not.
One of the two teams made spectacular, highlight reel plays and is a legitimate playoff contender. One is not.
One of the two teams has an MVP caliber quarterback. One does not.
One of the two teams has exciting young players on an improving defense. One does not.
Jacksonville has earned every bit of their 2-7 record this season,...
Bad news for Dallas.
Dak Prescott is expected to miss multiple games due to the hamstring injury he suffered in the Dallas Cowboys’ Week 9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, according to reports from NFL Media.
Additional context:
Prescott underwent an MRI after suffering the hamstring injury in the second half of Dallas’ 27-21 loss. The results were worse than initially feared. Pelissero added that the club hasn’t decided on whether to place Prescott on injured reserve, which would sideline him a minimum of four games.
Prescott will get a second medical opinion to confirm the treatment...
Mike Schmidt said it best, “Philadelphia is the only city where you can experience the thrill of victory and the agony of reading about it the next day.” Well me running around with a mic after the games is the 21st century version of reading about it in the paper. Don’t tell Eagles fans they won on Sunday because this might be the most miserable I’ve ever seen a fanbase at 6-2:

Barkley became the third player in franchise history to hit 1,000 offensive yards in 8 games, and both of the other Eagles to reach that feat were in attendance on Sunday.
Everyone will continue talking about Saquon Barkley’s heroic reverse-hurdle against the Jaguars, but the RB had another reason to celebrate after the game on Sunday. After just a short time with the Eagles, Barkley has already cemented himself among the greats, hitting 1,000 total yards of offense in just eight games. The running back is only the third player in franchise history to hit that mark.
The only other...
