This news brings to an end the two-game streak of Eagles vs. Cowboys games where both first string QBs started. Since 2020, the primary quarterbacks have faced off against each other a whopping three times. If it’s Cooper Rush starting on Sunday that means Jalen Hurts has played him one less time than Dak Prescott in his career.

The Cowboys are dead in the dirt and the Eagles should shovel the last bit of the Earth on them and Mike McCarthy’s coaching career. Knowing this team though, it’s going to be 28-23 in the 4th quarter and Cooper Rush is going to put together the pieces of a game winning drive for the because the Eagles were 0-4 on fourth down inside the 30.

I can’t wait for the Shedeur Sanders/Travis Hunter package deal Jerry is about to finagle. When he hires Deion to replace McCarthy it’s going to be the icing on the cake.
