Well, apologies, Eagles fans, but this one will be a little different! If you don’t follow me on Twitter, you may not know I have been in the United States for the past week! I managed to attend Ohio State vs. Nebraska, Bengals vs. the Eagles, and Steelers vs. Giants. I’ve had the most unbelievable time, but I’ve been unable to record videos as usual due to being away. I watched the All22 whilst on the plane home, but I would be lying if I was concentrating as much as I usually would! In my defense, I may have had...
This is perfect:
Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs says that Jayden Daniels is a top 5 QB in the league
He notably does not include his own QB, Dak Prescott in the top 10

What a week for Trevon Diggs. First he confronts a TV guy outside of the locker room because he didn’t like his tweet. Then he goes on Micah Parsons’ podcast and is asked to give his top five QBs “right now,” and the pair go on to name Jayden Daniels, Patrick Mahomes,...
Philadelphia Eagles news and links for 10/31/24.
Let’s get to the Philadelphia Eagles links ...
Most confusing NFL teams, what’s next for Anthony Richardson - ESPN+
Cooper DeJean, NB, Philadelphia Eagles: It would be an overstatement to say that DeJean saved the Eagles’ defense, but it was bad before he got healthy and good after he took over the starting slot job from Avonte Maddox, so I’m going to say it anyway. DeJean has been one of the most impressive rookies I’ve seen all season, immediately showing a veteran level of feel both when matching routes behind him and closing...
Cancel Howie szn
This coming Tuesday, November 5, if you didn’t already know, is a pretty big day. It is the NFL trade deadline.
Already there have been several moves, mostly at WR: the Jets traded for Davante Adams, the Bills for Amari Cooper, the Chiefs for DeAndre Hopkins and Josh Uche, the Ravens for Diontae Johnson, and the Seahawks and Vikings both made two trades.
Will the Eagles make one next week? It would surprise no one if they did. For the past 5 of the past 6 years, Howie Roseman has made an in-season trade. Some have been...
The Eagles took a chance on the young CB and now he wants to prove he’s worth a long-term commitment.
The Eagles took a risk when they signed CB Isaiah Rodgers shortly after he was suspended for the 2023 season, but so far it’s paid off.
Before Rodgers was even re-instated by the league, Howie Roseman signed the CB to a one-year deal. Rodgers has talked about how much it meant to him that during a really tough time, the Eagles believed in him enough to give him a chance.
As he gets closer to his first true offseason as...
At some point overnight, Le’Veon Bell accused Fletcher Cox of wearing a blouse. Cox responded by saying that he doesn’t do internet talk, then deleted his response:
oh stop it tough guy .. I know you may feel pretty in that blouse, but ion want your number .. I gotta girl bro https://t.co/CzJV4G1FHc

This is old video. It’s from Cox’s on-field interview before Super Bowl 57, which you can see on the wrap-around video screen. They are inside the Cardinals’ stadium.
Why is Le’Veon Bell is bringing this up...
Think you can figure out which Eagles player we’re talking about? You’ll get five clues to figure him out in our new guessing game!
We’re back for another day of the Bleeding Green Nation in-5 daily trivia game, and we’re returning to our system of a new article each day for the game.
We tried using a single article for the game, updated with the latest game each day, but it was creating a bit of an unwieldy experience in the comments. So, we’ll have the current day’s game plus the previous three days in each new article. That way,...
The latest news on Philadelphia and Jacksonville.
The Philadelphia Eagles issued their first official injury report on Wednesday in advance of their Week 9 home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Eagles listed four players under DID NOT PARTICIPATE: Dallas Goedert, Jalen Carter, Landon Dickerson, and Darius Slay,
Goedert hasn’t played since suffering a hamstring injury early on in Week 6. It looks like he’s on track to miss his third straight game. By not placing Goedert on injured reserve, the Eagles seem to think Goedert might be able to play in Week 10. Even if he’s not available for...
Doug Pederson apparently helped Nick Sirianni get acclimated to his job after he was fired in 2021:
Wait, Doug Pederson actually HELPED Nick Sirianni get acclimated to the Eagles in 2021 after getting fired?
Be honest, are you doing the same for your replacement at your job? pic.twitter.com/vD3OP5Q77D

Better man than me. I’ve been let go from enough billion dollar organizations to know that they’ll run just fine with my help or without my help. That’s the other people on my now former team’s problem to help...

I think these are Pro Football Focus stats, but will double check the passer rating math.
To break it out, PFF listed Jalen as 4-5 for 50 yards against the blitz on Sunday afternoon. They’ve got these written out as his season stats:
Shout out to Bo Wulf for asking about the Tyler Steen penalty from Sunday’s Eagles game. The second-year lineman was flagged for unnecessary roughness when he came into a scrum “late” and tried to push the pile forward. I put “late” in quotation marks because I swear that the official was already pulling out the flag before the contact was made, when the whistle was slow to begin with. But the way Nick Sirianni explains it, the flag didn’t have anything to do with the whistle at all (my emphasis in bold) –

Philadelphia is adding some more offensive line depth.
The Philadelphia Eagles signed free agent offensive lineman Braeden Daniels to their practice squad on Wednesday morning, according to an official team announcement.
The Eagles had an open spot to fill after cutting Siaki Ika on Tuesday evening.
Daniels, 24, was originally selected by the Washington Commanders with a fourth-round pick (No. 118 overall) in the 2023 NFL Draft. He missed his entire rookie campaign due to a season-ending injury. A new Commanders regime then decided to move on from Daniels prior to the 2024 season.
Daniels spent a few weeks on...
