Doug Pederson apparently helped Nick Sirianni get acclimated to his job after he was fired in 2021:

Wait, Doug Pederson actually HELPED Nick Sirianni get acclimated to the Eagles in 2021 after getting fired?

Be honest, are you doing the same for your replacement at your job? pic.twitter.com/vD3OP5Q77D

Better man than me. I’ve been let go from enough billion dollar organizations to know that they’ll run just fine with my help or without my help. That’s the other people on my now former team’s problem to help the next guy out. Sink or swim.

Maybe that’s immaturity or maybe I’m not a team player or maybe I’m just a grudge guy. But if I was fired two seasons after the organization’s first Super Bowl those calls would go to voicemails. But I’m not Doug Pederson. He’s a better man than me. Better man then most of us. Doesn’t hurt he was a career backup and probably coached a lot of the younger QBs during his career. Doug’s also the ultimate bro. He stuck his neck out for Mike Groh and almost got himself fired over it. He ended up getting fired because he wanted to promote his guys from within when he had his meeting with Jeffrey Lurie. Ultimate foxhole guy so none of this shocks me especially when he see’s a young coach like Sirianni get thrown into the fire immediately. If we had more Doug Pedersons this world would be a better place.

He also had to be a little relieved when he got fired. Remember what he looked like at his end of the year press conference?

Jeffrey Lurie saved his life. This guy needed to be let go or he was on a one way ticket to the looney bin.

P.S. It’d be real ironic if Nick Sirianni was the reason Doug loses his job this weekend. I kind of want to see what killer instinct Sirianni has. Et tu, Nick?
