Dolphins linebacker Jaelan Phillips suffered season-ending ACL injury against the Titans

Miami Dolphins linebacker Jaelan Phillips announced on Wednesday that he will miss the rest of the 2024 NFL season after suffering a partial ACL tear in Monday’s game against the Tennessee Titans. This marks Phillips’ second major injury in under a year, following the Achilles tear that ended his 2023 season last November against the New York Jets.

“I believe that our lives are defined by how we handle adversity,” Phillips wrote on Instagram. “In these moments of uncertainty, defeat, and sorrow, it is natural to question your purpose and wonder what is the meaning of this pain.”

Phillips rehabbed...

The Miami Dolphins are...off to a less than ideal start to the 2024 season. Pro Bowl quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is on injured reserve with a concussion. Pro Bowl running back Raheem Mostert has missed the last two games with a...

Five Things I Think I Think About the Miami Dolphins - Week 4

Five Things I Think I Think About the Miami Dolphins - Week 4

saturnine (adj) - causing or marked by an atmosphere lacking in cheer

You know me by now. I type a bunch of words. I list five things.

So it goes.

Today, I don’t have notes or a rough draft to build a nice meaty article from.

And I have just one thing because it’s the only thing:

It’s 2024 and the Dolphins are still the same

Primetime implosion against what should be an inferior team? Chet Ubetcha.

“But we had a new QB!” a completely non-existent defender cries into a 3⁄4 empty bag of Cool Ranch Doritos.

So did...

Miami Dolphins’ Most Valuable Player | Week Four | Not much to choose from

Miami Dolphins’ Most Valuable Player | Week Four | Not much to choose from

Jalen Ramsey stays consistent while Miami Dolphins crumble around him.

Sometimes it feels cruel that I must dig, scratch and claw through a game as miserable as Monday’s to find an MVP (Most Valuable ‘Phin) to deliver this article to my readers, but I take my duties very seriously and even when the Miami Dolphins aren’t doing their jobs well, I intend to do mine to the best of my abilities. (insert saluting emoji here)

There weren’t a lot of stellar performances put forth by Dolphins players — or coaches, for that matter — on Monday Night Football against the...

Around SB Nation: Rashee Rice status up in the air

The second year wide receiver was off to a hot start to begin the season. Unfortunately, he may have to miss the rest of it.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver, Rashee Rice, had to be carted off the field on Sunday and the news did not sound good. Rice was off to a stellar start this season but that could quickly come to an end as he would likely miss the rest of the season with a reported torn ACL. The receiver is still undergoing tests and it may not be as bad as first feared. The Chiefs are also...

Phinsider Question Of The Day: New England Patriots Player(s) You Would Steal For The Miami Dolphins

Well, that was about as ugly as I can remember seeing from this team. That game was difficult to watch, and I watched every single game of their one-win season. I do not know what to think at this point. I know that everyone feels things will improve when Tua Tagovailoa returns, and I am sure it will make all the difference. My question at this point is how do we continue to go forward with a starting quarterback that we all must know or at least believe may be no more than one big hit away from being out...

The Good, Bad & Ugly from the Miami Dolphins Week 4 loss to the Tennessee Titans

The Good, Bad & Ugly from the Miami Dolphins Week 4 loss to the Tennessee Titans

It has been a long time since the Miami Dolphins were this inept on the football field.

Monday’s 31-12 domination by a previously 0-3 Tennessee Titans team in front of the entire world has me feeling like it’s 2019 again. Remember how that season started?

Week one that year saw a 59-10 decimation at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens. It didn’t get much better from there as the team lost by scores of 43-0 to the New England Patriots, 31-6 to the Dallas Cowboys, and 30-10 to the Los Angeles Chargers before heading into a week five BYE week....

Welcome to the Splash Zone, the quickest way to get your day started off right. We bring you a rundown of Miami Dolphins news from the last 24 hours.

Hard to believe things can get anymore embarrassing for the Miami Dolphins but they always find a way. The Tennessee Titans were one of the worst teams in the league for the first three weeks of the season and the Dolphins just gave them their first win of the season. Is there really anything to say? This team has so many issues and it started in the offseason with all the...

Titans vs. Dolphins final score, immediate reactions to Monday Night Football Week 4

The Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Titans closed out their Monday Night Football showdown in Week 4. We react to the action.

The Miami Dolphins hosted the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football tonight, the second straight year Tennessee traveled into South Florida for a Monday game. Last year, the Dolphins dropped that game, starting a downward slide that led to Miami losing out on an AFC East division title and heading to Arrowhead Stadium for a AFC playoffs wild card showdown rather than hosting a postseason game.

The Dolphins are starting Tyler Huntley at quarterback just 13 days after signing...
