Miami Dolphins’ Most Valuable Player | Week Four | Not much to choose from

Jalen Ramsey stays consistent while Miami Dolphins crumble around him.

Sometimes it feels cruel that I must dig, scratch and claw through a game as miserable as Monday’s to find an MVP (Most Valuable ‘Phin) to deliver this article to my readers, but I take my duties very seriously and even when the Miami Dolphins aren’t doing their jobs well, I intend to do mine to the best of my abilities. There weren’t a lot of stellar performances put forth by Dolphins players — or coaches, for that matter — on Monday Night Football against the Tennessee Titans. It was a miserable game to have to sit through, especially when the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions were putting on a classic offensive display at the exact same time.

One player who continues to stay consistent for the Dolphins is defensive back Jalen Ramsey.

Miami Dolphins Week Four MVP - Jalen Ramsey

Jalen Ramsey continues to be his usual self for Miami’s defense, despite what mouth breathers on Elon Musk’s hellscape of an app formerly known as Twitter would like you to believe.

In new defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver’s scheme, Ramsey is allowed far more freedom than he was when forced to play by Vic Fangio’s archaic rules. As a result, Ramsey was Pro Football Focus’ highest graded Dolphin for Monday’s contest.

No, Ramsey doesn’t have any interceptions yet on the season, nor does he have a forced fumble, fumble recovery or even a sack, but his impact is being felt week in and week out even without the counting stats — although I’m sure those will be coming soon.
