Las Vegas plays host to Broncos in division matchup; little margin for error pick-wise
The Las Vegas Raiders are back home and are gearing for a Week 12 division contest with the incoming Denver Broncos.
Can the Silver & Black get hot like the pick’em competitions we’re having?
Las Vegas was ice cold coming off a bye week in the 34-19 loss to the Miami Dolphins this past Sunday and this weekend, Antonio Pierce’s squad plays host to Sean Payton’s Denver Broncos in an AFC West tilt inside Allegiant Stadium.
As such, let’s take a look at the lines for...
On Sunday, Kansas City is on the road to play its Week 12 game in Carolina.
Each practice day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs release an official injury report leading up to the next game. This week, Kansas City goes back on the road to play the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte. Kickoff will be at noon (Arrowhead Time) on Sunday.
Here is the Chiefs’ first official injury report of the week:
Raiders are scary thin at some spots in Week 12
The Las Vegas Raiders have been dealing with injuries all season and the challenges are continuing.
The 2-8 Raiders are beginning their Week 12 preparations to host the Denver Broncos on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium (1:05 p.m. PT kickoff) by practicing without their top three cornerbacks and top two running backs.
Not ideal.
Las Vegas head coach Antonio Pierce announced Wednesday that cornerbacks Jack Jones (back), Jakorian Bennett (shoulder) and nickel corner Nate Hobbs (ankle) will not practice Wednesday. Also, Pierce said running backs Zamir White (quad) and Alexander Mattison...
The rookie quarterback has earned himself another accolade for his impressive performance against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11.
Earlier today, Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix earned himself AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors for his dominating performance against the Atlanta Falcons. That was a first in the franchise’s storied history.
But that wasn’t the only honor he would earn. For his efforts against the Falcons, Nix also was named FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week. Make those two accolades for the rookie who looked the best he had all season this past Sunday.
After going 28-of-33...

In dramatic fashion, the Chargers were able to knock off and survive the Cincinnati Bengals at home 34-27 on Sunday Night Football. Justin Herbert and the offense came through when they needed it...
Two of Kansas City’s important contributors are soon expected to be returning from their injuries.
In a season where the Kansas City Chiefs have played relatively well on both sides of the ball (and winning many games), it’s been hard not to be pleased about how the team has been doing week-to-week — even though many of the wins have been close ones.
But injuries have been one of the season’s downsides. Hollywood Brown, Rashee Rice, Isiah Pacheco, Jaylen Watson, Jared Wiley, Jody Fortson and Harrison Butker are among those on the team’s Reserve/Injured list. Charles Omenihu has been on...
Antonio Gates will look to make it the second time around after being the biggest snub in 2024.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame just announced their 25 semifinalists for the Class of 2025 and two former Chargers have made the cut.
First is safety Rodney Harrison who played for the Chargers from 1994 to 2002. He ended his career with the Patriots where he played from 2003 to 2008. During his time in San Diego, Harrison racked up 760 total tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 21.5 sacks, 46 pass breakups, 26 interceptions, eight forced fumbles, and seven fumble recoveries....
Head coach Andy Reid spoke about both players during his Wednesday morning press conference.
Amidst a season plagued by injury, the Kansas City Chiefs announced that they would conduct a fully-attended practice on Wednesday ahead of their Sunday matchup against the Carolina Panthers. The Chiefs are coming off their first loss of the season — a 30-21 setback at the hands of the Buffalo Bills.
For the second consecutive week, both running back Isiah Pacheco and defensive lineman Charles Omenihu are expected to work.
“We’ll see on both those two,” said head coach Andy Reid. “[We’ll] kind of go through...
Baltimore assistant could be hot name in offseason
We are looking at potential offensive coordinator candidates for 2025 after the firing of uke Getsy earlier this month. A new name that may be on the radar around the league as an OC candidate is Tee Martin. Let’s get to know him:
Current job:
Quarterbacks coach of the Baltimore Ravens.
Age:
46
Coaching experience:
He has been a coach for 19 seasons. He has been with the Ravens for four seasons. This is his second season as the quarterbacks coach and he was also the Ravens’ wide receivers coach for two...
Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry make up the engine that churns the NFL’s No. 1 offense.
The Chargers defense will not be getting a break between their win over the Bengals and their upcoming opponent in the Ravens. Cincinnati unleashed one of the league’s best passing attacks this past Sunday night, but now the Chargers get to see the league’s third-ranked unit through the air led by Lamar Jackson. On top of that, they now also have to worry about Derrick Henry and the league’s second-ranked rushing unit.
Can I get a big “Yikes!”?
Luckily for the Bolts, they should...
For the first time in franchise history, the Denver Broncos have a rookie quarterback earning the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award.
Bo Nix.
That’s your franchise quarterback. His play as a rookie for the Denver Broncos has only gotten better as the season has progressed and now he has earned the first ever AFC Offensive Player of the Week award by any rookie quarterback in franchise history.
During the Broncos 38-6 win over the Atlanta Falcons, Nix completed 84.8% of his passes for 307 yards and four touchdowns. His 145.0 passer rating is also the second-highest rating in...
Las Vegas is buried in the conference
Another week, another Las Vegas Raiders loss.
As they continue to be buried in the AFC conference, they can play spoilers to ruin other teams playoff chances.
They will get that chance Sunday in Week 12 when they host the Denver Broncos at Allegiant Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. PT. The Broncos are currently positioned in the seventh and final playoff spot.
1. Kansas City Chiefs (9-1)
2. Buffalo Bills (9-2)
3. Pittsburgh Steelers (8-2)
4. Houston Texans (7-4)
5. [Los Angeles...
