The Chargers defense will not be getting a break between their win over the Bengals and their upcoming opponent in the Ravens. Cincinnati unleashed one of the league’s best passing attacks this past Sunday night, but now the Chargers get to see the league’s third-ranked unit through the air led by Lamar Jackson. On top of that, they now also have to worry about Derrick Henry and the league’s second-ranked rushing unit.
Can I get a big “Yikes!”?
Luckily for the Bolts, they should be able to keep pace in the offensive fight as Baltimore currently ranks dead last in passing yards allowed. However, their run defense is No. 2 in the NFL which means it will be tough sledding for J.K. Dobbins and the backfield. Still, it’s the 26th-ranked defense overall and that leaves plenty of hope for a potential shootout.
