Running back J.K. Dobbins was making an early impact against the Ravens on Monday night with 40 rushing yards and 19 receiving yards before being forced to leave the game with a knee injury. According to Ian Rapoport, the Lions are placing WR Kalif Raymond on injured reserve.

Rapoport says Raymond should be back in time for the playoffs and perhaps the end of the regular season, however. He injured his foot in Sunday’s win over the Colts.

Raymond, 30, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Holy Cross back in 2016. He lasted just over a year in Denver before he was waived and later claimed by the Jets in 2017.

Since then, Raymond had multiple stints with the Giants and Titans....

The Lions will be without their primary punt returner for an extended stretch as a result of a Week 12 injury. They are placing Kalif Raymond on IR, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport notes.

Sustaining a foot injury, Raymond is not expected to miss the rest of the season. The Lions, who have five injury activations remaining, will likely hold one open for their top return man/auxiliary wide receiver moving forward.

Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo hardly seemed a victor as he addressed the media on Tuesday for the first time since Sunday’s narrow 30-27 victory over the Carolina Panthers.
