The New York Jets 2024 campaign has been nothing short of miserable, and after they got to take a break from things during their bye in Week 12, they will be back in action in Week 13. Unfortunately, things just keep going wrong for the Jets, and that has continued with the latest injury update regarding star running back Breece Hall.
In a year full of offensive struggles, Hall has been arguably the Jets most consistent producer, as he has 632 rushing yards, 401 receiving yards, and six total touchdowns on the year. However, he is reportedly [dealing with a...
J.K. Dobbins has been on pace this season to record his first 1,000-yard rushing season of his career.
Running back J.K. Dobbins was making an early impact against the Ravens on Monday night with 40 rushing yards and 19 receiving yards before being forced to leave the game with a knee injury. With about five minutes remaining in the first half, Dobbins was seen walking to the locker room with trainers. He later came back to the sidelines with a brace on his knee.
Following the game head coach Jim Harbaugh could not speculate much on the severity of Dobbins’...
Could Aaron Rodgers end up in Vegas ... or even Tennessee? As Week 13 kicks off, we tackle Rodgers' future and several other topics.
The Green Bay Packers are having an excellent 2024 season so far. Green Bay is 8-3 heading into Week 13 and is firmly in the mix for the NFC playoff picture. The Packers are preparing for another huge game against the Dolphins on Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, they may be without one of their best defensive players for the game.
Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander has not practiced this week, per NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe. Alexander is still suffering with a knee injury that kept him out of the lineup in Week 12. Green Bay is preparing to play Miami in Week 13,...
The Falcons are currently last in the NFL on play-action passes as a part of their offense with just eight percent of total plays. Raheem Morris said it’s an area they want to increase from now on.
“It’s something that we want to increase, something that we want to do better, something that we want to make more important, more a part of our game,” Morris said, via Tori McElheney of the team’s site.
Morris points out they haven’t needed to lean on play-action passes because they’ve had success in other areas.
*“It just so happens that...
The New York Jets have decided against benching quarterback Aaron Rodgers or shifting focus toward tanking the remainder of the season, according to a report from ESPN’s Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler. The decision follows a meeting held by the team after returning from their bye week, with the organization reportedly aiming to finish the season on a “positive note.”
“I didn’t sense that these guys want to do anything other than go out and play well,” a team source told ESPN. “Net positive.”
This direction solidifies Rodgers’ role as the starter moving forward, despite [ongoing speculation about his future...
Look at this slob:
Apropos of nothing, here’s @ShaunMorash blubbering live on air when Derek Jeter retired. pic.twitter.com/Exd0qRwuKl
— CogginToboggan (@CogginToboggan) November 26, 2024
What a hypocrite. A grown-ass man-child with bills to pay crying over a guy that’s never spent a millisecond thinking about him. Derek Jeter would step over this pig on the streets of Manhattan if he saw him choking on a hot dog and here he is blubbering.
See this is the thing I hate about sports radio fans. When we call out dipshits for being dipshits it’s always “*It’s entertainment, bro. Don’t...
According to Ian Rapoport, the Lions are placing WR Kalif Raymond on injured reserve.
Rapoport says Raymond should be back in time for the playoffs and perhaps the end of the regular season, however. He injured his foot in Sunday’s win over the Colts.
Raymond, 30, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Holy Cross back in 2016. He lasted just over a year in Denver before he was waived and later claimed by the Jets in 2017.
Since then, Raymond had multiple stints with the Giants and Titans....
The Lions will be without their primary punt returner for an extended stretch as a result of a Week 12 injury. They are placing Kalif Raymond on IR, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport notes.
Sustaining a foot injury, Raymond is not expected to miss the rest of the season. The Lions, who have five injury activations remaining, will likely hold one open for their top return man/auxiliary wide receiver moving forward.
A journeyman before coming to Detroit, Raymond was in on the ground floor of Dan Campbell‘s rebuild. The Lions have rostered Raymond since Campbell and GM Brad Holmes arrived in 2021....
Here are the many people I wish to thank
On this Thanksgiving Day Eve, I would like to give thanks to:
Kansas City’s defensive coordinator has no illusions about the improvement needed from his unit.
Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo hardly seemed a victor as he addressed the media on Tuesday for the first time since Sunday’s narrow 30-27 victory over the Carolina Panthers.
In particular, Spagnuolo regrets seeing his defense give up yet another late touchdown and allow a successful two-point conversion that tied the game with less than two minutes remaining in regulation. The situation should have been very familiar to Kansas City’s defenders.
“We’ve been through this,” Spagnuolo recalled. “We’ve actually practiced this a couple of...
Half of the NFC East is a complete dumpster fire and those two teams, the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, will face off in Week 13 in a late-afternoon Thanksgiving game on Thursday.
It appeared as though the two-win Giants jumped right into tanking mode, while the Cowboys can’t help themselves from making things even worse than tanking. The Cowboys pulled off a come-from-behind win last week against the Commanders, a victory that ended up costing them a Top 10 draft pick next spring.
If Dallas was hoping to try and get back into a top pick in the...
