The Denver Broncos have a favorable schedule. Can they run the table ahead of their rematch with the Los Angeles Chargers?
The next three games are vital for the Denver Broncos. They have a chance to surge into the AFC playoff picture if they can play like they did on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. So my question this week is to gauge where fans think Denver ends up ahead of their Week 16 rematch against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Let’s take a look at Denver’s upcoming schedule:
The Denver Broncos defense came up big this past Sunday against Kirk Cousins and an explosive Atlanta Falcons offense that had a multitude of weapons to go to. Defensively, the Broncos found a way to limit the explosive plays on the ground from Bijan Robinson and through the air against Darnell Mooney, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts. What did the All-22 film review show us?
Coming into Sunday’s game, the Atlanta Falcons were a top-five unit in terms of net yards per game,...

Thus...
Let’s see how Kansas City is ranked after its first loss of the season.
Here’s a summary of this week’s comments about the Kansas City Chiefs...
Don’t overreact about Kansas City’s first loss, which didn’t happen until almost Thanksgiving; it felt like it was coming for the past several weeks. The Chiefs came down to earth, losing a rare two-possession game at Buffalo. [That means] we’ve gone from talking about an unbeaten season to suddenly wondering if Kansas City will end up with a first-round bye in the playoffs. [But] now, the Chiefs know precisely what they can and...

The Denver Broncos playoff probability continues to improve as the season goes on.
Last week, Denver had a 52% chance of ending their eight-year postseason drought before they played the Falcons. But the Broncos’ blowout win over Atlanta Sunday, coupled with a Cincinnati Bengals loss, means Denver is even more likely to make the playoffs.
With six regular season games remaining, the Broncos still have to take care of business. But they control their own destiny.
In the NFL playoff picture, most of the contenders are set.
In the AFC,...
The Chargers did not play a complete game, but they played great when it mattered most.
The Chargers offense was clicking in a way early against the Bengals that at times, you may have forgotten that there was a defense on the other side attempting to stop them. Justin Herbert was seemingly hitting chunk gains through the air one after the other. By early in the second quarter, the Bolts had a 27-6 advantage over Cincy that looked almost insurmountable the way the LA defense was playing.
But then the dam broke.
Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase led a furious...

Seven weeks remain in the 2024 NFL season, in which Kansas City will go on the road to play the Carolina Panthers, return home for their second division games versus the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers, play the Cleveland Browns in Ohio, face the Houston Texans at home and finish the season on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Broncos.

The Chiefs pass rush struggled during the teams 30-21 loss to Buffalo
For the first time during the 2024 season, the Kansas City Chiefs' pass rush failed to record a sack during the game — and the inability to bring down Allen would cost them.
The team did record 19 pressures, their second most of the season (22 against the New Orleans Saints was the most), but against a quarterback like Josh Allen, pressures don’t hold the same weight that they do with other quarterbacks.
Star defensive tackle Chris Jones recorded seven pressures and was inches away from a sack...
