Three battles on Sunday to keep an eye on
The Jacksonville Jaguars head to the Motor City to face the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Here are three matchups to watch out for:
Is it officially tanking season in Jacksonville? The Jaguars’ star quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, will be absent again this coming Sunday after missing the game against the Minnesota Vikings with a left shoulder injury. Perhaps Lawrence would have gritted his teeth and played through it had the Jags been pushing for a playoff place. But with just two wins on the season, it...
Aw man, not this NFC East stuff aga—wait...this might not be bad?
Hello, good evening and welcome to week 10 of the NFL season.
Tonight, it’s yet another NFC East prime time matchup, whether they deserve it or not. The surprising Washington Commanders take on the also good Philadelphia Eagles to take control of the NFC East.
Here are the deets, as the cool kids say, about tonight’s game:
Who: Washington Commanders (7-3) at Philadelphia Eagles (7-2)
What: Thursday Night Football
Where: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
When: Thursday November 14, 7:20 pm CDT
Why: Because it’s the NFC East...
The Philadelphia Eagles are 3.5-point favorites at home tonight against the Washington Commanders. Who would have thought that at the beginning of the year that this would be such a big game? It’s amazing what a quarterback can do for a franchise. Jayden Daniels has really turned the Commanders around.
With that being said, I’m taking the Eagles to cover in this one. They are still the more talented team and come into this game pretty healthy. It should be a big night for the Eagles passing game.

Houston Texans Thursday injury report.
The (6-4) Houston Texans are set to take on the (3-6) Cowboys in Dallas on Monday Night Football.
Houston’s defense is playing great football, while the offense has continued to be extremely inconsistent. The good news is that their offense is likely to receive a big boost.
Here is a look at Houston’s Thursday injury report:
The Indianapolis Colts released their Thursday practice report.
The Indianapolis Colts today released their Thursday injury report for Week 11 of the NFL season ahead of their Sunday game against the New York Jets.
Left tackle Bernhard Raimann missed practice again today with a knee injury. Raimann has now missed both practices this week and looks like a major doubt to play on Sunday. If he is unable to play then expect rookie tackle Matt Goncalves to take his place at left tackle Joe as he did in week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings and last week against the [Buffalo...
Each week during the season, I will be walking through the data from the previous Colts game and analyzing the numbers to form a sort of “what happened” narrative, as well as comparing the Colts against all other teams in the league. For a glossary of the stats listed, reference Season Stats. Thanks to Pro Football Reference, NFL.com, Football Outsiders, and the nflFastR project for being awesome sources of weekly data.
The Colts’ defense had another rough day, allowing over 400 yards and 30 points to the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo’s offense earned a 72.4% Drive Success Rate which is...
NFC East matchup of two playoff hopeful teams
Hell of a game to kick off Week 11 of this NFL season, as the Philadelphia Eagles (- 210) host the Commanders (+ 176). Both teams are in the hunt for their division, so this is a matchup with much more at stake than the divisional rivalry. The Eagles are currently favored by 3.5-points, with the OU for the game at 48.5.
The Eagles trounced the Prescott-less Dallas Cowboys last week away from home, led by four total touchdowns by quarterback Jalen Hurts and an impressive performance by the defense. With...
Jaguars fans, who are you picking in tonight’s game between the Commanders and Eagles?
Thursday Night Football kicks off tonight at 8:15 p.m. EST as the Philadelphia Eagles host the Washington Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field.
The Birds are 3.5-point favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, and the total is 48.5 points.
I like Philly to win and cover tonight. I thought about taking the Commanders because they’re a legit playoff team and the Eagles have faced a soft schedule recently, but regardless of opponent strength, I am all-in on Vic Fangio’s defense. The secondary communicates very well and rookie corners...
Fans are starting to get whiplash from all the back and forth.
Someone in the Colts organization must be a fan of Stampede Blue.
Someone in the Colts organization must be a fan of mine, to be more specific.
You’re welcome...
Ok. All jokes aside, I am extremely pleased that someone woke up and made the choice to go with Richardson at quarterback again, supposedly for the rest of the year....
