Well we had a feeling didn’t we? We chose to believe in the Seattle Seahawks after their demolition of the Kansas City Chiefs in a stupid preseason game. We believed in Mike Macdonald and his defense, but that game, and the new vision of this team, we thought it could lead to a division title....

When people say “the preseason means nothing,” they don’t really mean that. What they’re trying to say is that a 3-0 preseason record does not mean a team will be a juggernaut, or that a 160-yard receiving performance does not guarantee someone a roster spot.

Despite a certain trademark stoic nature exhibited most notably along the sideline, Coach Macdonald seems to be revealing a brighter and sharper public persona as he becomes more comfortable in his role as Director. When DeMarcus Lawrence joined the Seattle Seahawks in free agency after a decade with the Dallas Cowboys, ‘Tank’ took a swipe at the Cowboys’ Super Bowl chances in an interview with Brian Nemhauser.

“Dallas is my home,” Lawrence said. “I made my home there, my family lives there. I’m forever gonna be there. But I know for sure I’m not gonna win a Super Bowl there.”
