A “pool report” is when a designated reporter speaks to a person and then relays the information back to the group. It’s usually done when getting official word from the refs.

With 9:25 left in the third quarter, the Jacksonville Jaguars had a total of 36 yards of offense and zero points. Jacksonville was there at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday—and that seemed about it.

For once, it looked like the Eagles were doing what they were supposed to do against one of the worst teams in the NFL, smack them around, and then pounce on them.

[UPDATE]: The Jaguars climbed back into Sundays game, and despite a small 22-16 lead, the Eagles downgraded A.J. Brown to out with a knee injury.

The Eagles’ offense finally got off to a decent start and was able to put points on the board early against the Jaguars on Sunday afternoon. Despite A.J. Brown being evaluated for a concussion in the first half, the WR was cleared and able to return to play, but unfortunately it didn’t last long.

I have been watching football for over three decades at this point and, well, what Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley just did to the Jacksonville Jaguars defense is, without a doubt, one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen on a football field. Just...just check it out.

Never seen anything like it. The hurdle was incredible by itself, but he got there by first breaking a tackle and then juking a second guy out of his shoes. To even attempt that is one thing, but to pull it off is something else entirely. If he gets clipped there, he’s doing a back flip and maybe landing on his head. Difficulty? 10 out of 10.
