Jalen Hurts didn’t practice on Wednesday or Thursday and Nick Sirianni was asked about it Friday, resulting in a confusing exchange here:
So, this exchange happened during Nick Sirianni’s Friday press conference.

Hurts appeared on the injury report both days as REST, nothing mentioning an ankle. Jalen Carter was not on the injury report at all, and the last time he was, it was a shoulder issue, so that would seemingly rule out any kind of Jalen confusion. And the only guys listed with an ANKLE this week are Mekhi Becton and Ainias Smith. It WOULD SEEM as though Hurts has an ankle issue that nobody was supposed to know about, so a bit of brain fart with the head ball coach blowing their cover. Maybe the Eagles PR staff experienced a Sixers moment here, but it happens. It’s Friday, Nick looks a little tired and sometimes you flub it. It could always be worse. At least nobody in the Eagles locker room is shoving columnists.
