The Washington Commanders had Jayden Daniels wrapping his ribs every time he went to the sidelines, and he still threw for 300+ yards and led the team to a Hail Mary victory with no time left on the clock over the Chicago Bears. Washington is now 6-2 and remain one of the top teams in the NFC. They still hold first place in the NFC East, with the Eagles a half game back.
The Commanders open up the week as 3.5-point favorites against the New York Giants. Washington is still one of the hottest teams in the NFL, and they go on the road against an inferior rival and remain favorites. Their last game was in Week 2, and the offense under Kliff Kingsbury and Jayden Daniels has come a long way since then. Daniels took some big shots in yesterday’s game, and will be hurting this week, but he has shown that he’s a fierce competitor and is willing to play through the pain to lead his team to victory.
The O/U opens at 43.5, which is three points lower than last week. Washington remains the top team in the NFC East, and with only the Philadelphia Eagles looking like competition for the title.
