Home favorites
The Washington Commanders lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 26-18 last night, and are now 7-4 for the season. The Philadelphia Eagles are now in clear control of the NFC East at 8-2 with a 1 1⁄2 game lead and a head-to-head win over their only competition. Both teams now have a mini-bye before their Week 12 games.
Early opening odds for the Commanders have them as 9.5-point favorites against the Dallas Cowboys at home. The O/U opens at 44.5, which is four points lower than last week. The Cowboys still have to play the Houston Texans this week, and they are 7.5-point underdogs at Sunshine Stadium. Cowboys QB Dak Prescott had surgery on his torn hamstring and is out for the season. That leaves Dallas with Cooper Rush and Trey Lance who were both terrible against the Eagles last week. They are heading for a Top 5 pick next year, and another coaching reset.
