ESPN’s Monday Night Football is back with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers visiting the Kansas City Chiefs at 8:15 ET on ESPN. The undefeated Chiefs are hosting an offensively competent, but frequently defeated Bucs team. Can Baker Mayfield finally beat a good team?

Let’s keep this simple. The Bucs defense is not great. The Chiefs offense has been struggling, but still has Patrick Mahomes at the helm. It may be weakness against weakness, but the Chiefs weakness is hiding the talents of the most decorated player currently playing the NFL.
The Bucs strength, meanwhile, hasn’t been able to topple any actually good teams. They have lost twice to the Atlanta Falcons—an NFC South team, can you imagine—once to the Baltimore Ravens, and even to the Denver Broncos. It sounds too close to the Carolina Panthers resume for my liking.
That’s why I’m picking the Kansas City Chiefs to win tonight.
