Injury updates
The Washington Commanders enter their Week 12 game against the Dallas Cowboys with the benefit of a 10-day break between games following their appearance on Thursday Night Football versus the Eagles last week. The Cowboys, meanwhile, are on a short week, having played and lost to the Houston Texans on Monday night. The two teams that opened and closed Week 11 will play at Northwest Stadium in Landover on Sunday at 1pm.
Today’s injury report is the first one we have seen since the final game status report for last week’s matchup with the Eagles. Due to the time difference between DC and Dallas and NFL reporting rules, we won’t see the Cowboys injury report for a couple of hours yet, but the Cowboys seemed to suffer a number of injuries, including at least one concussion, on Monday night.
Of course, the most significant injury affecting their roster is the one suffered by Dak Prescott earlier this month that put him on season-ending IR. His backup and expected starter for Sunday’s game is Cooper Rush; behind him on the team’s depth chart is Trey Lance.
