When the Bears lost to the Commanders on a last second Hail Mary, I went on a podcast and said they wouldn’t win another game this season. Three games later, I am even more confident in that prediction. Their coach Matt Eberflus should’ve been fired last year and likely will the Monday after the season. That would mean the Bears would have their 5th Head Coach since firing Lovie Smith after a 10-6 season.
However, the Head Coach wasn’t the biggest reason for my Bears skepticism. It was their QB. Rookie QBs rarely come in and succeed. I am confident Caleb Williams isn’t the rare exception to the rule. His general aura just doesn’t give off leader of men vibes, it’s celebrity.
I realize the Vikings are playing the Bears on Sunday and that prediction might become comically wrong. However, fortune favors the bold. Don’t be afraid of jinx’s. Embrace the logical and enjoy the upcoming victory. On the road in Chicago, easy W.
