A surprisingly level-headed grade for Will Levis on Sunday.
The first question for this week’s reacts was to grade Will Levis’s performance in the Tennessee Titans' loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. 46% of you gave him a C, which I think is the correct grade:
To break it down a little further, 94% of you gave him between a B and a D. Levis certainly did some good things on Sunday, but there is still a lot he needs to improve on before the Titans should have any confidence that he can be the guy going forward - starting with knowing when to get rid of the football.
As for confidence that the team is headed in the right direction, 38% of you think that they are.
I will say the way they are using the guy in the picture there, Calvin Ridley, has me a little more confident. In the three games since the Titans traded DeAndre Hopkins to the Kansas City Chiefs Calvin Ridley has been targeted 33 times. That has resulted in 20 catches for 300 yards and 2 touchdowns on those targets (h/t Field Yates).
Ridley said he needed targets earlier in games. They have done that and it is paying off.
