Week 5 of the NFL season kicks off tonight as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Atlanta Falcons.

It’s an intriguing game for Browns fans, in the sense that they get to reminisce about Baker Mayfield, who is lighting it up for the Buccaneers. Through four games, Mayfield has 8 touchdown passes to 2 interceptions, as well as 2 rushing touchdowns. The Buccaneers are 3-1, having big wins against Washington, Detroit, and Philadelphia, but also an egg against the Broncos.

The Falcons, meanwhile, remain an intriguing team simply due to Kirk Cousins being under center. I think the offensive playbook should be catering to his strengths more, but Atlanta pulled off a gritty 26-24 win this past week that required them to drive down for a game-winning 58-yard field goal with only a minute to work with. Funny enough, Atlanta had no offensive touchdowns in that victory (two were on defense, and the rest field goals).

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Falcons are 1.5 point favorites against the Buccaneers. The Falcons can be right in the thick of these games, but besides the one egg by Tampa Bay, they have been playing at such a high level that I have to go with them here. Buccaneers 27, Falcons 20
