Week six of the 2024 NFL season kicks off this evening with an NFC West showdown. The third-place San Francisco 49ers will travel this evening to take on the first-place Seattle Seahawks. The 49ers have underwhelmed this season winning only their two games against bad AFC East teams, the New England Patriots (30-13) and the New York Jets (32-19). Sand Francisco lost to the Minnesota Vikings (23-17) in week two as well as their divisional foes the Los Angeles Rams (27-24) in week three and the Arizona Cardinals (24-23) last week.
Despite only having a 3 and 2 record, the Seahawks currently hold first place in their division. After ripping off three wins to begin the season against the Denver Broncos (26-20), the New England Patriots (23-20), and our very own Miami Dolphins (24-3). Seattle has since lost both of their games leading up to this week to the Detroit Lions (42-29) and the New York Giants (29-20).

—My Pick: The 49ers, at least on paper seem to be the better of the two teams despite their struggles to this point of the season. The Niners are favored and should pull out this evening's game, but the game is both an intradivisional game and an away game for the 49ers. The game should be close by a field goal margin or less, resulting in San Francisco not covering the line.
