This week’s NFL action begins with the Steelers against the Browns on TNF.

The (9-1) Kansas City Chiefs will play the (3-7) Carolina Panthers at noon (Arrowhead Time) on Sunday.

But Week 12 of the NFL season kicks off with an AFC North matchup featuring one of the AFC’s contenders: the (8-2) Pittsburgh Steelers playing (2-8) Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Stadium on the shore of Lake Erie for “Thursday Night Football*.”* Kickoff is set for 7:15 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) on Amazon Prime, WPXI (NBC/11-Pittsburgh) and WEWS (ABC/5-Cleveland).

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Steelers are favored by 3.5 points.

The Steelers have won five straight — the last four of them with Russell Wilson at quarterback. They went on the road to edge the Washington Commanders 38-27 in Week 10 — and then returned home to collect an 18-16 win over the Baltimore Ravens. It was the second game this season where all of Pittsburgh’s scoring came from six Chris Boswell field goals. Meanwhile, the Browns are having their worst season under head coach Kevin Stefanski. Still, they beat the Ravens 29-24 in Week 8 before collecting a 27-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers and a 35-14 defeat at the hands of the New Orleans Saints.

Pittsburgh ought to win this game. But it’s the AFC North, so anything can happen. I think Cleveland helps Kansas City by collecting a 22-21 win.
