Week seven of the 2024 NFL season kicks off this evening with the Denver Broncos, the AFC West’s third-place team, traveling to take on the New Orleans Saints, the NFC South’s third-place team. The Saints started the season by winning their first two games but have since dropped four games in a row, including last week's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that saw them blown out 51 to 27. Denver started their season with two losses before going on a three-game win streak. The Broncos' streak ended last week with their loss to their divisional foe, the Los Angeles Chargers, 23 to 16.

Denver Broncos (3-3) 3rd AFC West @ New Orleans Saints (2-4) 3rd NFC South

Week 7

  • Kickoff: 8:15 p.m. EST, Thursday, October 17th
  • Location: Ceasars Superdome, New Orleans, Louisiana
  • Streaming: Amazon Prime Video; NFL+ (replay after the game)
  • FANDUEL Sportsbook betting Odds: Denver Broncos -2.5; Point total: 36.5; Moneyline: New Orleans Saints +128 | Denver Broncos -152

—My Pick: The Saints are amid a four-game losing streak, while the Broncos have been more up and down this season. The Saints continue this evening without starting quarterback Derek Carr, who was off to a fast start. Now it’s Denver’s rookie quarterback Bo Nix, who’s off to a fairly solid start in his rookie year and will be playing this evening. I expect the Broncos to pull out this away game but at least a field goal margin this evening, thus covering the 2.5-point spread.
