Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles’ finish to the 2023 season led to a feeling of disappointment from this group when it was all said and done, but bright spots were aplenty. A.J. Brown once again posted an elite receiving grade in 2023, and Jalen Hurts was right behind him with an 87.1 mark. The third spot could have easily gone to one of the starting offensive tackles, but Jalen Carter was incredible as a rookie. He earned the highest defensive grade on the team (89.5) with an 84.6 pass-rush grade and a 16.6% pass-rush win rate. Also Considered: T Lane Johnson, T Jordan Mailata.

The Philadelphia Eagles signed veteran free agent wide receiver John Ross on Thursday morning, according to an official team announcement. This news comes a few days after DeVante Parker unexpectedly announced his NFL retirement. His departure had the Eagles interested in adding some more wide receiver depth. We knew Ross was on the Eagles’ radar considering the team invited him to participate in their rookie minicamp following the 2024 NFL Draft.

What has been on the top of his list? Making sure he’s in the best possible shape he can be for the 2024 season. “It’s been a lot on conditioning,” Carter said at OTAs this week. “Really, I’d like to be more conditioned than working on technique because we got all year for technique stuff. We work on technique everyday in practice with our hands, working on pass rushes and stuff like that. But you really don’t work on conditioning a lot. But I did more conditioning than I did hand movement and some of the stuff like that.”
