Hey Poles... don’t make us sad...

WE WANT YOU!

Would you like to show your Chicago Bears spirit to the world? I’m starting a feature where Windy City Gridiron readers can share pictures of themselves and their families and friends in Bears attire. Simply email a picture to me at the following address: denmasterken at aol dot com. The pictures need to be clear, and full resolution (i.e. full size from your phone if that’s how you take them). Include any description information you like along with the photo!

THE DAILY SPONGIE SPECIAL - ORIGINAL PARODY FOR THE DEN

From Den reader David: After going to high school (’78) in Pittsburgh and watching the black & gold get four rings I’ve converted to a 40+ year lifelong/long suffering Bears fan after moving back to Chicago (’83). Can’t recall when I’ve been this excited about a draft.

Jeannie has sang the National Anthem at Soldiers Feld and the United Center and our street cred goes back to tailgating in the North McCormick parking lot in beer-freezing frigid December/January weather. I immensely enjoy the forum/humor/discussion/articles you curate for diehard Bears fans; keep up the good work.

Warm regards,

David

Jeanie Tanner: Recording Artist/Singer-Songwriter Jeannie Tanner https://jeannietanner.com recorded her interpretation (she arranged, sang & played all the instruments).
