Texans vs. Colts: Injury Report
Battle Red Blog Battle Red Blog

The (5-2) Houston Texans are coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Green Bay Packers and are set to host the (4-3) Indianapolis Colts for the second time this season.

The Texans beat the Colts 29-27 in week one, when wide receiver Nico Collins exploded for 117 yards receiving and running back Joe Mixon had 159 yards rushing on the ground.

Here is a look at Thursday’s injury report:

DID NOT PARTICIPATE:

  • Safety Jimmie Ward (Groin)
  • Linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair (Knee)
  • Linebacker Henry To’oTo’o (Concussion)
  • Cornerback D’Angelo Ross (Illness)
  • LIMITED PARTICIPATION:
  • Defensive Tackle Folorunso Fatukasi (Shoulder)
  • Cornerback Kamari Lassiter (Shoulder)
  • Wide Receiver Robert Woods (Foot)
  • Right Tackle Tytus Howard (Knee)

FULL PARTICIPATION:

  • Left Tackle Laremy Tunsil (Ankle)
  • Wide Receiver Steven Sims (Back)
  • Defensive End Will Anderson Jr. (Chest)

The Texans could be banged up at linebacker against the Colts, due to Azeez Al-Shaair set to miss his second-consecutive game and Henry To’oTo’o’s status still up in the air. The good news it that Neville Hewitt, along with Jake Hansen, both stepped up last week against the Packers. The team also signed Pro Bowler Devin White, who could make an impact at some point.

Standout rookie cornerback Kamari Lassiter has practiced two days in a row, and has a chance to suit up this weekend, although his status is still up in the air. If he can go, it would be huge for Houston’s defense.

The Texans need to win this game in order to maintain their lead in the AFC South.
