Steelers WR George Pickens pulls ‘all-nighters, just thinking about football’ | Kevin Patra, NFL.com

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens enters Year 3, but sometimes he still acts like a college student, pulling all-nighters to improve his football acumen.

“I don’t take a lot of time off,” Pickens told Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on Tuesday. “Sometimes I don’t even sleep. I’ll pull all-nighters, just thinking about football.”

Steelers could keep 3 UDFAs this season | Curt Popejoy, Steelers Wire

First up we have cornerback Beanie Bishop Jr. Physical, scrappy, quick and strong against the run sounds like a Steelers slot cornerback to me. The team is excited about what Bishop brings as a sort of hybrid cornerback/safety up and around the line of scrimmage and he has a real shot to make the final roster.

The Steelers went out and signed quarterback John Rhys Plumlee based on his remarkable athleticism and intangibles. All Plumlee needs to do in order to make the roster is beat out veteran Kyle Allen.

Steelers legends Ben Roethlisberger, Jerome Bettis, and others come back to Pittsburgh for the Resilience Bowl | Patrick Damp, CBS News

It was the Resilience Bowl at Acrisure Stadium.

For the first time in two years, Ben Roethlisberger returns to the grass at Acrisure Stadium, and while things did not get off to a great start - he threw picks on his first two drives - but as he always has done, he led a comeback for his team, throwing a short pass to Jerome Bettis.

The fans in the building loved seeing all the stars back in Pittsburgh, including Hines Ward.
