Sunday Night Football is back this week featuring Detroit Lions visiting the Houston Texans. All Sunday Night Football games kick off at 8:20 ET on NBC.

The 6-3 Texans have been good this season, but they aren’t quite viewed as in the same league as the 7-1 Detroit Lions. Dan Campbell’s Lions have been tenacious and productive in their wins this year. There is belief in Detroit that this is their year to win the NFC.
The Texans, meanwhile, are continuing to enjoy the turn around that the Carolina Panthers had hoped for following the 2022 debacle. Both teams replaced their head coach and drafted a new quarterback at the top of the NFL draft. We all know how that has been going.
Both teams being good hopefully just means we get to watch a good game tonight. The edge has to go to the team that has been better for longer, however. That’s why I’m picking the Detroit Lions tonight.
