Talk about all the Sunday late games here in our open thread!
The Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings game is almost over, so hang out with us in our open thread and talk about the late afternoon games and the Sunday nighter. As always, remember that all our open threads are rated WCG-MA.
Here’s the full slate of today’s late games.
CBS late afternoon game
3:05 p.m. — Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders
FOX late afternoon games
3:25 p.m. — San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers
3:25 p.m. — Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks
7:20 p.m. — Philadelphia Eagles at Los Angeles Rams, NBC and Peacock
The Rams started slow this season as they worked through some injuries, but they’ve won four of their last five and are back in the mix in the NFC West. They are tied with the Seahawks and 49ers at (5-5), all looking up at the (6-4) Cardinals.
The Eagles have won six in a row, and running back Saquon Barkley is making a legitimate case for some NFL MVP votes. He won’t win — the award has exclusively gone to quarterbacks since 2013 — but he’ll be in the conversation as long as Philly keeps winning and he continues leading the league in yards from scrimmage.
For tonight’s game, our partners at FanDuel Sportsbook have the Eagles as a 2.5-point favorite and the over/under at 48.5. I’d like to see the Rams pull off the upset, but Philly should win, and I think they cover the 2.5 points.
