36% of Saints fans said...
Earlier this week, we asked our readers to vote on whether they thought the New Orleans Saints would defeat the Denver Broncos on Thursday night in prime time to turn things around during in their mini bye and how confident they are that the team is moving in the right direction.
Just 36% of voters believe that the Saints will bounce back into the win column tonight after losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday and falling to 2-4.
Meanwhile, only 18% of voters think that the Saints are headed in the right direction. These numbers are not that surprising given the Saints have lost 4 straight games and are sitting in 3rd place in their division.
After playing 3 games in just 10 days, the Saints are completely overwhelmed with injuries on both sides. If they can somehow come away tonight with a win against their former coach, Sean Payton, getting the next ten days off could not come at a better time for this team. Hopefully many of their banged up players can get a much-needed break to recover and these numbers can start trending back up.
