Did Bills Mafia’s confidence in Buffalo rise after their Week 7 win against the Titans?
The results are in Bills Mafia! By and large, Buffalo Rumblings voters remain confident in their favorite team. That’s likely of little surprise to anyone reading this article. The Bills are playing fairly well, even if it isn’t always pretty.
As we do each week, we wanted to know how Bills fans feel about their favorite team following a Week 7 win against the Tennessee Titans. We also gave readers a classic, on-site poll to see how confident people are with Buffalo leaving Washington with a win against the Seattle Seahawks. Certainly, there have been plenty of moments early in games where Buffalo looked completely out of sorts and overmatched against their opponent before completely dominating them after halftime. But the Bills are 5-2 and hold a very comfortable lead in the AFC East, while sitting at fourth overall in the AFC.
Before revealing the latest confidence rating, recall that following Buffalo’s Week 6 win over the New York Jets, voters were riding high and 91% of voters were content with the current direction of the team.
After the Bills dominated the Tennessee Titans (eventually) in Week 7, confidence in One Bills Drive must be even higher, right? Wrong.
Our latest results told us that 86% of Rumblings voters are confident the Bills are headed in the right direction. The week-to-week nature of the NFL also carries with it week-to-week fandom, where sometimes people just aren’t happy with one or two specific things. Those complaints sometimes cloud the ability to look at bigger pictures.
The fact of the matter is: This Buffalo Bills team very few felt would be among the best in the conference are, in fact, exactly that. For most, that’s enough, but it’s interesting that 5% of voters changed their mind this past week.
In this week’s SB Nation Reacts poll with FanDuel Sportsbook, voters weighed in their beliefs about who will cover in today’s Buffalo Bills-Seattle Seahawks game. Nearly three-quarters (71% to be exact) of respondents chose the Bills at -3.
The results of another national poll may pique fans’ interest. When asked whether or not the 2024 running back explosion is a sign of a major shift in offensive strategy, better than half (56%) of voters believe it is a sign of said shift.
