The latest Cleveland Browns news and notes from around the NFL in the Saturday Dawg Chow.
The Cleveland Browns will bring a four-game losing streak into Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
That skid has the Browns sitting at the bottom of the AFC North standings and squarely in the hunt for the No. 1 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Normally that would make Sunday’s match-up a bit of a bland affair, even if it is against Cleveland’s kid brother from the southern part of the state. But it may be no ordinary game in the middle of another lost season.
That is because running back Nick Chubb is expected to make his first appearance of the season after missing the past year with a knee injury.
Because of who he is and what he means to the team and the city, Chubb’s return might provide enough of a spark to shake the Browns out of their current doldrums, at least for one day.
We are still day away from that, so let’s get the weekend rolling with today’s edition of the Saturday Dawg Chow.
