The results are in, and the majority of fans expect a certain cornerback to become a Jaguar.
We asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans which 2024 NFL Draft prospect they want to see selected by Trent Baalke and co. on Thursday night.
The top two cornerbacks in the draft, Toledo’s Quinyon Mitchell and Alabama’s Terrion Arnold, received over half of the votes in this survey. Mitchell was the lead vote-getter at 28%; Arnold was close behind at 25%
We also asked fans whether they expect the Jaguars to make a trade in the first round. 39% of respondents said ‘yes’.
So there you have it. According to you, the fans, Jacksonville is due to stay at pick 17 and select cornerback Quinyon Mitchell. I think even those who didn’t select Mitchell in the survey would be happy with this scenario. While the Mid-Atlantic Conference (MAC) product will face an adjusting period early in his career, Mitchell has all the potential to be a long-term staple of the Jaguars’ secondary.
