Week 8’s AFC North matchup could be great impacted by Zay Flowers’ availability
The Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens go into their Week 8 matchup Sunday at less than 100%. While the Browns are trying to salvage something meaningful out of the 2024 NFL season with Jameis Winston stepping in as the starter and Ken Dorsey taking over play calling, the Ravens are looking to keep their momentum going.

The big question for Week 8’s AFC North matchup was WR Zay Flowers. Baltimore ruled out three on Friday then added CB Nate Wiggins to the list on Saturday:
The Ravens are also unlikely to have their other starting cornerback, Marlon Humphrey, who is doubtful for the game.
With Flowers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported late Saturday night that he would play:
A few hours later, but now on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that the team would evaluate Flowers during a pregame workout:
The Browns need every benefit possible to potentially pull off the upset even if fans are split on whether the team should tank or not. With or without Flowers, Baltimore has a lot of firepower on the offensive side of the ball.
We are unlikely to have any more information on Flowers before the inactive reports come out around 11:30 Sunday morning.
