A quick look at the best Carolina Panthers bets on FanDuel

The Carolina Panthers may be getting healthier, but that hasn’t been cause for growing optimism around their offense or defense. You can catch current odds on all NFL games for Week 9 here on FanDuel.

This space is going to offer weekly updates and advice on player and team prop bets specific to the Carolina Panthers. Take a look:

Any Time TD Scorer

Chuba Hubbard +100

Hubbard is rated as the second likeliest touchdown scorer in this game by any time odds, for the fourth week in a row. His four touchdowns (one receiving and three rushing) give him a plurality of the 14 touchdowns the Panthers have scored all season. He is ahead of Diontae Johnson (3, and also now a Baltimore Raven) and Xavier Legette (3). Nobody expects this to be a high scoring game for the Carolina offense.

Player Passing Yds

Bryce Young O/U 182.5 (-113/-113)

Young hit the over on this prop last week by 60 yards, throwing for a season high 224 yards to go with his two touchdowns and two interceptions. He only managed 161 yards through the air in the season opener. Expect anything at all from him tomorrow, as we have little data and less consistency from which to extrapolate his play against a New Orleans Saints defense that has fallen off a cliff since he saw them in the season opener.

Personally, I’d stay away from any passing related props in this one. It’s worth noting that Chuba Hubbard is the only skill player on the Panthers for whom FanDuel is offering any sort of receiving props.
