At least we aren’t sliding backwards

The Carolina Panthers are looking to double their win total for the second week in a—oh, sorry, I’m being told that’s not how math works. Good luck convincing the average Panthers fan that, however, as we have had an astronomical leap in confidence in this team after beating one of the other contenders for “worst team in the league” in the New Orleans Saints.

That’s right, 62% of fans are now confident in the direction of the Carolina Panthers. That is up from a season low of 17% from Week 2. Whether or not that confidence level can last depends entirely on the Panthers ability to topple another one of the claimaints for the title of “worst team in the league.” Carolina takes on the also 2-7 New York Giants in Munich, Germany tomorrow morning at 9:30 ET.

Another win, what could be classified as a whole winning streak, would certainly be a vote in favor of the team that general manager Dan Morgan and head coach Dave Canales have been building. Here’s to hoping the return of Jonathon Brooks is the cherry on to top of the 2024 draft sundae that we hope to be. . . no. No, I’m going to end that metaphor there. Good luck, everybody.
