We’re already in the second month of the Las Vegas Raiders‘ 2024 season with hopes of a run to the postseason. We’re collecting all the news, injury reports, signings, rumors, and everything you need to follow the Raiders and the NFL in the month of October.

We’ll update everything below in reverse chronological order:

October 21

2:02 p.m.: The Raiders are making a change at defensive tackle, cutting Nesta Jade Silvera and promoting Zach Carter from the practice squad to the active roster. Silvera was active but only played on special teams against the Rams.

10:37 a.m.: The Chiefs will be down a wide receiver next Sunday as Andy Reid has already ruled JuJu Smith-Schuster out.

October 19

1:03 p.m: Wide receiver Alex Bachman, who had three catches for 31 yards last week, has been signed from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of tomorrow’s game. Tight end Justin Shorter and wide receiver Kristian Wilkerson are also getting callups with the Raiders down several pass catchers.

7:44 a.m.: Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailua is coming back from being out several weeks with a concussion. The Raiders play at Miami in Week 11.


October 16

4:56 p.m.: Raiders had seven players sit out of practice today, including Maxx Crosby (ankle), Jakobi Meyers (ankle) and Kolton Miller (knee/shoulder).

2:08 p.m.: There is a chance Rams’ wide receiver Cooper Kupp will be able to face the Raiders this week.

11:38 a.m.: The Raiders signed linebacker Blake Lynch to the practice squad.

11:25 a.m.: The Raiders worked out linebacker Jason Johnson.

11:18 a.m.: Former Raiders’ executive Amy Trask has taken a step closer to being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.


October 11

1:09 p.m.: More defensive tackle news. Matthew Butler is getting called up from the practice squad and Carter will take Butler’s place on the practice squad.

9:12 a.m.: The Raiders are losing interior offensive lineman Ben Brown off the practice squad as the Patriots claimed him. New England recently lost starting center David Andrew for the season, so they needed some depth in the trenches.

8:31 a.m.: With Christian Wilkins going on injured reserve, the Raiders added defensive tackle Zach Carter who was released by the Bengals last week.

October 10

7:05 a.m.: The Patriots are reportedly signing guard Ben Brown off the Raiders’ practice squad.


October 9

1:54 p.m.: The Raiders officially put injured defensive tackle Christian Wilkins on the injured reserve and brought back Maquan McCall into the program,

12:18 p.m.: The Tom Brady-Raiders ownership partnership may be finalized soon.

9:05 a.m.: Denver cornerback Pat Surtain II was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his play in a win over the Raiders in Week 5.

October 8

1:41 p.m.: The Eagles have released former Pro Bowl linebacker Devin White. He is now a free agent. The Raiders are banged up at linebacker.


October 7
