NFL Week 5 winners picks, betting odds on Sunday
The Phinsider The Phinsider

We pick the winners for each game on the Sunday schedule in the 2024 NFL Week 5.

The NFL’s Week 5 schedule is underway, starting with the Thursday thriller between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Atlanta Falcons. It continues on Sunday with a morning game from London featuring the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings. Then will feature 11 more games, ending with the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers tonight.

During the early portion of the afternoon games, the schedule includes the Carolina Panthers at Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins at New England Patriots, and Cleveland Browns at Washington Commanders games. The late afternoon games are the Las Vegas Raiders at Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay Packers at Los Angeles Rams, and New York Giants at Seattle Seahawks.

Week 5 features the first byes of the year, with the Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Tennessee Titans all off this weekend.

Our contributors here on The Phinsider have made their straight-up winners picks for each game on the schedule. This is a year-long picks pool, predicting the winner of each game from Week 1 through the Super Bowl to see who can make the most correct predictions.

While we focus on the straight-up winner for the picks, we can also make picks against the spread set by the oddsmakers at FanDuel sportsbook.

We evenly split the Thursday Night Football results, with Sumeet Jena and Marek Brave correctly picking the Falcons while James McKinney and I both thought the Buccaneers would win.

Here are our picks for the full Sunday schedule. The widget is brought to use courtesy of Tallysight. Note: Due to the early start of the Jets vs. Vikings game, my pick for the Jets vs. Vikings game did not make it into the widget in time. I picked the Vikings straight up and to cover the -2.5 point spread.
