Good morning Gang Green Nation! A few news items have hit the last few days for the Jets. Laken Tomlinson and C.J. Uzomah signed with other teams. They probably weren’t going to return regardless, so these signings don’t amount to much for Jets fans. Ashtyn Davis signed a new contract with the Jets, and this one is low key meaningful. Davis struggled in his early years with the Jets, but last year he seemed to find his niche. Playing a limited role in the box, Davis made a significant positive impact for the Jets in 2023. With a dearth of proven safeties on the Jets roster and a need in special teams, the re-signing of Davis seems like a good move, pending, as always, the cap numbers.
