The New England Patriots shook up their linebacker room with a trio of roster moves.

New England on Tuesday announced it signed linebacker Titus Leo to its 53-man roster. A 2023 sixth-round pick, Leo spent the first 11 weeks on the Indianapolis Colts practice squad after he was released following the 53-man roster crunch. He hasnโ€™t played an NFL game.

The Patriots also placed linebacker Curtis Jacobs on injured reserved and released fellow linebacker Ochaun Mathis.

Jacobs, who exited New Englandโ€™s Week 11 loss with a head injury, played in nine games (two starts) this season. He was claimed off waivers after the Kansas City Chiefs released the 22-year-old in late August.

Mathis originally signed to New Englandโ€™s practice squad before he was elevated to the 53-man roster Oct. 29. The sixth-round pick played five games with the Patriots.
