Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season concludes tonight with the New York Giants taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football. Malik Nabers returned last week against the Eagles, but it was his most pedestrian performance of the season in a 28-3 loss. Still, prior to that, we’re talking about a guy who was electric and single-handedly keeping the Giants in football games.
The Steelers, meanwhile, have been very impressive during their 5-2 start. Also, the switch to Russell Wilson ended up having no negative impact last week, as the Steelers scored a season-high 37 points in defeating the Jets. Pittsburgh’s defense is allowing just 14.4 points (2nd in the NFL) per game, while the Giants are averaging 14.1 (31st in the NFL) points per game on offense.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Steelers are 5.5 point favorites against the Giants. I like the Steelers to smother New York again and cover by a wide margin. Steelers 28, Giants 10.
