Vikings at Rams to kick off Week 8 of NFL action
The Minnesota Vikings are in “The City of Angels” tonight, ready to kick off Week 8 of NFL action against the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football. The Vikings (5-1) are looking to rebound following their last-second loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 7. The Rams (2-4) are no doubt hoping for a bit of midseason magic to rebound from what’s become a letdown season in the early goings.
Minnesota enters tonight’s game as a 2.5-point road favorites with FanDuel Sportsbook. Quick glances as only the teams’ records may lead people to believe it’s a solid line. However, this evening could prove fruitful for the underdog Rams. Wide receiver Cooper Kupp returns to action, and Puka Nacua may also see the field.
Given the week-to-week nature of the NFL, you can never count any team out, even when records say otherwise. That said, the Vikings have been cruising most of the season and I don’t expect them to lose two games in a row.
