Three Keys
1) Pressure Caleb Williams - Williams, the #1 overall pick in this past April’s draft, has had his struggles this season, and a lot of it has come from his propensity to hold the football too long. Brian Flores has gotten the opportunity to face a lot of young quarterbacks this season, and none of them have fared very well against this defense. Hopefully that trend will continue this afternoon in Chicago.
2) Be smart on offense - The Vikings haven’t had any issues moving the football over the pat few weeks, but they have had issues with turning the ball over. Against a team like the Bears, turning the ball over will allow a team you should beat to hang around longer than you might like, and if the Vikings can be smart and hold on to the ball they should have the advantage.
3) Win on special teams - Along those same lines, special teams could give the Bears an opportunity to hang around and keep this game close. For the most part, the special teams for the Vikings have been pretty solid this season (with a couple of exceptions), and that’s something that will need to continue this afternoon.

That should be everything you need to be ready for this one, ladies and gentlemen. As we always do, we’ll have a new Open Thread at the start of each quarter, so keep your eyes open for those and keep the discussion moving along accordingly.
Here’s hoping that in about three hours we’ll be able to get together and talk about how good it feels to get to 9-2, guarantee an winning record, and keep pace in the division and the conference.
SKOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL VIKINGS!!!!
