The Jacksonville Jaguars 2024 season continues to spiral down the drain, as the team approaches mathematical elimination from playoffs contention territory. As the injuries also continue to pile up, this weeks’ snap count may look a little different than recent weeks. With that said, let’s get into some takeaways from the Jaguars’ 30-27 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
After initially providing the live takeaways from the game, we take a closer review of the matchup after evaluating the televised gameplay. As a note, this review is based on the non-all-22 film, while published before the PFF grades are released in an effort to remain truly uninfluenced or unbiased on what we see. Additionally, this knowingly places some limitations on evaluating secondary play without confirming the full coverage looks. With that said, let’s get into it.

The Jaguars linebacker core was an overall strength in this one. Both Foye, Ventrell, and Lloyd played really well in the run game. While a few opportunities in overage still exist for Ventrell, as he gave up a few first down conversions in tight zone coverage there truly was nothing egregious to discuss there.
